David and Judi Owens left their church in Vancouver, BC on Sept 6th, 2007 where they had been pastoring for almost 7 years to embark on their call to missions in Arusha Tanzania where they have since lived with their son, Zachary.
Their daughters, Justine and Celeste, are in full-time church ministry in New Zealand and the UK respectively.
Before Vancouver, David and Judi pastored the Sans Souci Vineyard church in Sydney NSW which they planted in 1991. Prior to this, David worked as a flight attendant with Qantas where he and Judi oversaw a group of Christian airline personnel, which was instrumental in many becoming Christ-followers.
Both David and Judi individually felt called to missions before getting married and although this was initially played out in the airlines, in Sydney and in Vancouver, twenty six years later they were led to in the developing nation of Tanzania, East Africa.
David now leads the Arusha Vineyard, a missional international church belonging to the Association of Vineyard Churches.
